Englightment Primary School is a school with a long and rich history, opened in the sixth year of the Daoguang era (1826, initially known as "Cui ying Yi Xue"), and which has a history of 196 years. After the reconstruction of School began enrollment in September 2020, the existing 4 grades, 49 teaching classes, 2067 students. There are 94 teachers on staff, including 1 "Master Teacher" of Chongqing High-level Talents Special Support Program, 1 Special Teacher, 1 Leading Teacher of Chongqing Municipality, 1 Master Teacher, 15 First Prize winners of Provincial and Municipal Class Competitions, and 16 Backbone Teachers of Urban Level.
The school takes "Cultivating Society with Children" as its educational mission, "Creating a Child-Friendly School" as its vision, "Heaven, Earth, People and Harmony, the Sun and the Moon" as its philosophy, "Every Life, Growing Toward the Light" as its nurturing philosophy, and "Children's Social Learning" as its nurturing approach.
Over the past three years, the school's education and teaching achievements have been selected as the Ministry of Education's 2023 Outstanding Cases of Wisdom Education, the National Elementary School Sports "Outstanding Cases of Energetic Campus Innovation", the Typical Cases of Chongqing Elementary and Middle School Labor Education, the Second Moral Education Brand of Primary and Middle Schools (Kindergartens) of the Two Rivers New Area, and won the First Prize of the Quality Assessment of the Primary and Middle Schools of the Two Rivers New Area in 2021. All office approval processes of School are moved to the Dingding platform to simplify the approval process and fully realize online paperless office.
