This project aims to support Professor Jeremy Knox [Co-Director of the Centre for Digital Education Research, University of Edinburgh, UK] and Professor Tore Hoel [Senior Researcher, Oslo Metropolitan University, Norway] to cooperate with the research team of the School of Future Education, Beihang University to carry out cutting-edge research and international cooperation platform on AI education and related international cooperation development work. By building a platform for international exchange and cooperation in the future of AI education at Beishi University, we will be able to grasp the development trends of AI education policy making, technology application and practical innovation in countries around the world. In view of the current development of AI education in China, the problem of "emphasizing technical functions but not educational concepts".

This project introduces Professor Rupert Wegerif [Professor at the School of Education, University of Cambridge, UK, and Director of the Cambridge Digital Education for the Future Institute (DEFI)] and his research team to conduct international collaborative research on future intelligent education and explore future education models and curriculum reform together with the research team of the School of Future Education at Beihang University. By building a platform for international exchange and collaborative research on future intelligent education at Beishi University/Cambridge, we will strengthen the understanding of the deep, fundamental and cutting-edge issues facing the transformation of education and teaching and learning in the artificial intelligence technology environment, and deepen international exchange and collaborative research.

This project introduces Adam Cooper [Co-Director of the Centre for Educational Technology and Interoperability Standards (Cetis)], a senior data scientist from the UK, to work closely with the research team of the School of Future Education at Beihang University to explore key theories and technologies for the development of higher-order competencies in self-directed and collaborative learning in an intelligent environment.
