Professor Zhu Zhiting is a leader in the development of educational information technology standard system in China. Since 2001, he has presided over the development of standards of the Education Information Technology Standards Committee of the Ministry of Education and the Education Technology sub-technical Committee of the National Information Technology Standardization Committee, and proposed the framework of China's education information technology standards system, which has produced 18 national standards, as well as more than 20 industry standards and more than 40 standards in research. Since 2010, he has led the development of technical standards for electronic textbooks - electronic schoolbags, online personal learning Spaces, and smart education in smart cities, which not only drives a large number of enterprises to participate in the country, but also represents our country to gain the right to speak in the international standards organization.

Professor Zhu Zhiting is the founder of large-scale teacher training quality assurance system. Since 2000, he has been the chief expert of the Future Education teacher Training project of the cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Intel. He has carried out creative localization work on the imported international training courses through the iterative experimental method, promoted the training nationwide and achieved great success, and refined the unique project culture. After 15 years, the program has trained 3 million teachers across the country and is recognized by the Ministry of Education as the most successful international cooperative training program. Since 2005, the National Training Course on Educational Technology Ability of Primary and Secondary School Teachers, edited by Professor Zhu Zhiting, has been approved by the Ministry of Education and promoted throughout the country, creating a model combining face-to-face and online training, creating a successful experience of simultaneous training of 250,000 teachers, and has so far trained 2.8 million teachers in 24 provinces and cities across the country. Through these projects, Professor Zhu Zhiting led his team to refine the "de-expert implementation" plan for large-scale teacher training and develop an effective quality assurance system. In 2013, he was hired by the Ministry of Education as the chief expert of the "National Primary and Secondary School Teachers' Information Technology Application Ability Improvement Project". He led a team of experts to develop teacher ability standards, training course standards and evaluation norms for more than 14 million teachers in the country. He proposed the standard development ideas based on the application matching point and the principle of honest self-testing, which was highly recognized by all parties. It has also been proved effective in practice.
